GV Correct, Inc. (“GV Correct,” “we,” “us”) operates the website https://gvcorrect.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy applies only to the Site. It does not cover the GV Correct garment or the SmartAlign™ app. Those products are not yet available and will have their own privacy notice before they launch.

This Site is intended for parents and other adults in the United States. It is not directed to children, and it is not offered to residents of the European Union or other non-US jurisdictions.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to submit through the forms on this Site, and limited technical data that our hosting provider records automatically.

Early access signup. If you ask to be notified when SmartAlign™ becomes available, we collect your name, your email address, your child’s age, and your US ZIP code. We do not ask for your child’s name.

General enquiries. If you contact us through the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.

Please do not send us information about a child’s health, medical history, or diagnosis through these forms. Age and ZIP code are enough for launch planning. We do not need a diagnosis to add you to the list or to answer a general enquiry.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. These logs are used to operate and secure the Site. The Site also loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

Cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this Site. Embedded signup forms and other functional components may set strictly functional cookies so the form works. We do not use those cookies to advertise to you or to track you across other websites.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• notify you when SmartAlign™ becomes available in your area, if you asked to be notified;
• plan launch timing, sizing, and regional availability using child’s age and ZIP code;
• respond to your enquiries;
• send you occasional updates about SmartAlign™, which you can stop at any time;
• operate, maintain, and secure the Site.

We do not use age or ZIP code to decide whether a child is eligible for the product, and we do not build a medical file from the signup form. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run this Site and communicate with you:

• MailerLite — manages our email signup list and sends our updates.
• Formspree — processes submissions from our enquiry form.
• Netlify — hosts this website.
• Google — serves the fonts used on the Site.

Each of these providers processes information on our behalf, or as independently described in their own privacy terms. They may process information outside the state where you live. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

How long we keep information depends on why we have it:

• Early access and email updates. We keep your name, email, child’s age, and ZIP code until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Enquiry messages. We keep them long enough to respond and to maintain ordinary business records, then we delete or de-identify them.
• Server logs. These are retained only as long as our host keeps them for security and operations.

To have your information deleted, email info@gvcorrect.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.

Your choices and rights

You can:

• unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us;
• ask us what information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete your information.

To make any of these requests, email info@gvcorrect.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents. If you live in California, you may ask us what personal information we collect, ask us to delete it, and exercise these requests without being discriminated against. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email info@gvcorrect.com.

Children’s privacy

This Site is intended for parents and other adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. When a parent signs up for early access, we may collect that parent’s child’s age. We do not ask for the child’s name or contact details, and we do not communicate with the child. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us at info@gvcorrect.com and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
